Aquaminerals was founded and registered in Finland in 2012. The company and its backing force consists of Finnish water sector professionals. Aquaminerals’ production plant is located near Oulujärvi in Paltamo, where we use minerals obtainable from Finnish soil as raw material. Production activities started in 2013. 

Aquaminerals is backed by strong mineral modification and processing expertise, and utilization of solutions especially with water purification applications. Adsorbent products are delivered directly from factory to project sites.

In addition to the Scandinavian market, Aquaminerals focuses together with its partners on projects in East-Africa (Kenya, Tanzania), West-Africa (Ghana) and in selected countries in Southern America (Chile, Peru).

Aquaminerals considers and takes care of its products life cycle impacts, and makes sure that the water treatment residual deposits are disposed of properly. In an ideal situation, the deposits are reutilized and recycled.

Aquaminerals’ adsorbent products are designed to remove harmful metal ions from water. The removal efficiency can be adjusted by altering the adsorbent dosage and the retention time. 

Adsorbents manufactured by Aquaminerals are effective with a wide pH range. In most cases there is no need for a separate pH adjustment. Saturated adsorbent deposits are stable and do not dissolve.
